The reason why I came to college is to get a better education so I can get a better paying job. No one pushed me to go; they suggested it but never told me I had to go. I made this decision by myself. I looked into going to a business college but there tuition cost was way too much money, so I decided a community college was best for me. Getting a college degree is important to me, not only the feeling of achievement but a better life style for my family. Also I want I job where I can wake up every morning and love going to work. There are some people who landed a job of their dreams with no college education. A lot of people don’t like what they do for a living, but going to college isn’t an option because of the high tuition cost or they just feel like they’re not smart enough to go to college. It is not easy going to college but it will be worth it in the end. I can’t wait for graduation day!

Writing paper is one of my weaknesses, I have a lot of great ideas in my head but I just can’t put on paper. This is my first writing class, and I feel like I have learned a lot, I also feel like my writing ability has improved sense the beginning of the semester.

The topic I chose to write about for my research paper is one that I am passionate about. My topic is sex education classes in high school. Even though most high school offers this class but I believe the teachers should stop preaching their own beliefs on sex and think about everyone else. They could separate the boys and girls so it won’t be as awkward of a subject for one another. They also could show the different birth control, to help prevent teen pregnancy.

The animals used for animal research are usually the cats, rabbits, and the rat and so on which are widely and cruelly used in various kinds of scientific researches, and millions of them die every year. Every life created by god is equal. Bearing that in mind, a huge amount of people have been no-animal-testing users. They strongly propose that animals shall not be used in scientific researches. They are routinely cut open, poisoned and then caged in for weeks, months or even years. Some animals are often given diseases to see whether a new drug will work or whether it has side effects. Some animals are killed by researchers in order to see the degree of damage inside their bodies.

Using animals for experiment is cruel and wrong, they should do their experiments on something else. Animal researchers say that animals feel little pain when being experimented on, but that’s hard to believe because I think they feel just as much pain as us. There should be another alternative to testing products.

My opinion on the The Glass Castle!

Jeanette Walls book The Glass Castle was a good book with its ups and downs. While reading this book I found myself getting upset, like why would their parents be so selfish? Her mom had a teaching degree and refused to use it, when times got real tough she would get a job but that never lasted long. And her father being an alcoholic and unreliable, the way he scammed money out of his kids made me extremely upset. Even though the kids didn’t live the ideal life they still had respect for their parents, and cherished everything they had even if it wasn’t much. All the kids learned from their parent’s mistake and made a good life style for themselves as they got older. Even though I had my ups and down reading this book I greatly enjoyed it, it made me realize how lucky I do have it at home. I would encourage people to read The Glass Castle.

                                       

Tattos and piercings

Tattoos and piercings are permanent mark to your body, some piercings will close up once you take the earing out but the scar will always be there. Tattoos is more permanent because they ink the top of your skin and the only way to remove it is laser it off but there will still be a scar.

While preparing to get a piercing you got to make sure your skin is clean around the area you want to get pierced with soap, if you don’t do that you can get a bacterial infection. Also after piercing you want to clean the area daily with soap and water also to prevent infections.

It is crucial that the tattoo artist's location is clean and safe, meaning that all of the equipment is either disposable or sterilized. Unclean facilities and conditions can result in an infection or disease. HIV and hepatitis B and C are common viruses that are transmitted though shared needles. You also have to wash your new tattoo with soap and water to prevent infections.
